- Do I need plans and an architect before you can start?
+
- No. We draw the plans, produce a 3D rendering you can walk through, and then build it. If you already have plans, we can build from those instead.
- What kinds of construction do you take on?
+
- Residential new construction, remodels, and small commercial work. Our contractor is licensed for residential new build and remodel work as well as small commercial projects.
- Can you build the house and the outdoor space together?
+
- Yes, and that is the advantage of a company with six divisions. The same company handling the build also does the pool, hardscape, landscaping, and ongoing property care, so nothing falls between two contractors.
- What is different about building on a mountain lot in East Tennessee?
+
- The grade affects far more than the site work. It drives the foundation system, the driveway approach, where utilities enter, how water leaves the property, and often the massing of the house itself — a daylight basement is frequently the right answer here because the slope gives it to you cheaply. Those decisions belong at the drawing stage with the builders in the room; designing a flat-lot house and meeting the real lot later is how budgets move.
- How do remodels differ from new construction?
+
- A remodel is discovered as it proceeds — what is genuinely behind a wall, whether existing framing will carry an opening, how the current systems take a new load. We plan for that with allowances and a sequence designed to surface unknowns early rather than at the point of no return, and we will say plainly when a wall cannot come out rather than finding an expensive way to pretend it can.
