- Yes. Ground & Aerial Services is our media division, covering aerial and ground video and photography for properties, projects, and marketing.
- Can you document a project while you build it?

- Yes, and it is one of the advantages of the work being in-house. Progress capture can run alongside construction, so the finished property has a record of how it was built.
- Do you build websites as well?

- Yes. Web and digital work sits inside our media and marketing division. This site was built and is maintained by that team.
- Can you fly a drone over any property in the Smoky Mountains?

- Not anywhere. Parts of this region sit under controlled airspace that requires authorisation before a flight, and there are areas — Great Smoky Mountains National Park among them — where launching and landing is not permitted at all. We fly under Part 107 and obtain airspace authorisation where it is required, planned before the shoot date rather than discovered on it. For a client that mostly means the shoot happens when it was scheduled to.
- Why should the same company build a property and film it?

- Because the crew that built it knows what is worth showing. We know which angle reveals stonework that took three weeks and which one flattens it, and what light a waterscape actually needs. It also means we can capture a build in progress — raw earth through gunite — which is consistently our best-performing material and cannot be recreated once the project is finished.
- What deliverables come out of a single property shoot?

- Planned properly, one shoot yields a long-form film for a listing or website, vertical cuts for social platforms, and stills for print and listing sites. Those need different framing decisions made while the camera is still on site, which is why the shoot is planned around the outputs. Deciding afterwards that vertical is also needed means cropping a wide aerial into something that looks like a mistake.
